Bio:
Dr. White graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2015. She is a Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington DC and Maryland and is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT/DN) utilizing dry needling in addition to manual mobilization techniques, biomechanical evaluation, therapeutic exercises and activity re-training in her treatment sessions. Dr. White has 25+ years of dance performance experience with extensive knowledge of Pilates mat and reformer, yoga, and floor barre. She became a Progressing Ballet Technique Certified Instructor in 2017 and a GYROTONIC® Method Certified Trainer in 2023. Dr. White specializes in treating performing artists providing injury prevention screening, strength/conditioning training, and backstage PT during performances. She continues to take dance classes for both fitness, and to stay connected with the local dance community.

Dr. White is the owner & founder of Statera Wellness, an on-site and in-home physical therapy practice created to serve the needs of the dance community in and around the DMV. Her treatment philosophy is that people are more than their injury. By taking the time to learn about each person and what their goals are, she works in partnership with them to find the right interventions to get them back to doing what they love. She strives to empower every patient to manage their health and mobility goals independently which is achieved through continual education, two way communication & feedback.
