Holly Moss is a personal trainer and dance instructor. Her passion has always been a mixture of athletics and the arts. In college, she saw so many students being told they had to look a certain way, getting injured trying to keep up in higher level dance classes, or just remaining stagnant due to lack of accurate fitness information. Her goal for her clients is not aesthetic. It's about moving safely, moving efficiently, and tapping into your strength and power to see the improvement in technique you've been dreaming of. Good news? You might just see some muscles along with it.
Holly has an extensive performing arts background. She received a bachelors of music from Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music, and went on to perform professionally in NYC. While in New York, she pursued her passion for fitness by interning at strength and conditioning gyms and taking her NASM personal training certification. Upon returning to Northern Kentucky, she continued following her dreams by starting her own company specifically geared towards performing arts training, Stage Fit by Moss. Holly specializes in adapting traditional exercises to meet the specific needs of performing artists to improve technique and performance in multiple styles of dance.
In addition to her role as Co-founder and lead administrator at Stage Fit, Holly is a dance and musical theater instructor at Moss Performing Arts Academy in Park Hills Ky. She believes that by keeping an active role in dance pedagogy it enables her to stay current with the fitness needs of her students.This helps feed into the programming at Stage Fit, with the biggest measure of success being improved performance in both class and on the competitive stage. Holly is also constantly bringing new resources and programs into her offerings. Recently, she earned certifications in Acro Arts and Muv Method stretching. By combining these tried and true approaches with researched based new approaches to fitness and dance training, Holly offers a truly personalized fitness experience that enables any performing artist to become the healthiest version of themselves and improve their craft.
