Cailyn Kennedy – Physical Therapist
Cailyn attended undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wingate University. Cailyn has a passion for treating dancers, as she competed competitively for 15+ years. She also competed on the Carolina Girls Dance Team throughout college, earning numerous awards and recognitions. Cailyn's past as a dancer herself, allows the patient time with a therapist who understands the stress and demands of the sport and specific rehab protocol for optimal recovery.
She has treated various populations from young athletes to professional dancers, focusing on sport specific rehabilitation and return to sport. She has attended various dance conferences including IADMS and NCDA, which has allowed her to learn and network with various professionals in the performing arts profession.
In her spare time she enjoys running, hiking, trying new restaurants, watching sports, working out and traveling the world. She is currently training for her first half marathon!
