Dr. Jessica Lord, PT, DPT uses a combination of manual therapy, cross training, and dance technique for the rehabilitation of the dancing athlete. Jessica graduated with a minor in dance from Chapman University in Orange, California alongside her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree. While earning her Doctorate, she worked with an Australian physiotherapy clinic in Brisbane, Queensland that services the Queensland Ballet and Queensland Symphony Orchestra to rehabilitate performing artists. Most recently, Jessica acted as the treating physical therapist in Rochester, New York for the Chinese Olympic Aerial Ski Team in preparation for the 2019 Lake Placid World Cup. Jessica’s love for the mountains and the outdoors has brought her to Salt Lake City, Utah where she enjoys playing volleyball, strength training, hiking, camping, biking and taking dance classes in her spare time. As a therapist, Jessica has found her niche and passion specializing in dance physical therapy offers injury prevention workshops, performance coverage and rehabilitation to local dance studios.
