Carlie Huberman – DPT, Elite Arts Physical Therapy
Carlie Huberman, PT, DPT is the owner of Elite Arts Physical Therapy, a mobile clinic based out of Raleigh, NC. She is an orthopedic physical therapist that specializes in performing artists such as dancers, acrobatics, aerialists and actors. A professional aerialist and acrobat herself Carlie understands the life of a performer and the issues that arise with flexibility and over training, especially when the show must go on! Carlie also works with Dr. Jen Crane of Cirque Physio as an online coach for her MyFlex program.
Carlie graduated from American University in 2012 and went on to teach and perform aerial and ground acrobatics in Raleigh, NC, before returning to school to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 from Elon University. Carlie first started dance and circus acrobatics at age 9 and has trained around the world since then, including at the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne, Australia and at the New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro, Vermont. Through Elite Arts PT Carlie not only runs a performance arts PT clinic but she also offers workshops in injury prevention and flexibility at different dance and acrobatics studios.
