Oriana Oanh Kim Hua, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Oriana is a physical therapist with Agile Physical Therapy who has a special interest in dance medicine. She understands the significant physical, emotional, and mental impact injury can have on the performing artist, which inspires her to take a personalized approach to care. Oriana is passionate about helping dancers learn strategies on injury prevention and self-care, rehabilitate their injuries, and stay healthy and in the studio.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA, she earned her doctoral degree in physical therapy from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. She became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and completed her orthopedic manual therapy fellowship with Agile Physical Therapy.
Oriana’s passion for physical therapy stems from her participation in dance and performing arts. Oriana grew up dancing cultural styles in addition to jazz, modern, and contemporary. What continually motivates Oriana in physical therapy is a desire to restore, optimize, and improve movement to allow people to confidently and joyfully participate in movement activities that are meaningful to them. She believes that movement inspires people to live the lives they want to lead, and this drives her treatment philosophy to provide individualized care to people of all ages.
