As a highly sought-after interventional pain and regenerative medicine specialist in the UES of Manhattan, Dr. Kohler has naturally aligned with treating professional dancers, Broadway performers, and athletes alike. It has always been a passion of his to work with high-level performers and athletes to help them resolve injuries and orthopedic pain problems in a conservative and minimally invasive way that coincides with their professional demands and personal goals.
Dr. Kohler completed his training at Columbia University Medical Center in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and gained further expertise through extensive training with the Interventional Orthopedics Foundation. His education and experience have given him a deep understanding of how to obtain optimized recovery and healing in a minimally invasive and holistic manner that addresses both the short and long term goals of his patients.
He specializes in diagnosing and treating dance injuries of the spine and joints, with a focus on ultrasound and x-ray precision guided injections and regenerative medicine treatments such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Bone Marrow Derived Stem Cells utilizing the Regenexx platform.
