Dr. Melanie Carminati, PT, DPT, GTS, PMA-CPT – Inspira Physical Therapy
Dr. Melanie Carminati has treated dancers at Madison Square Garden, various Broadway productions, students of the Alvin Ailey School, and much more. She has extensive experience in Orthopedics for conservative and holistic treatment as well as pre and post operative cases. Dr.Melanie Carminati is the owner of Inspira Physical Therapy, a Physical Therapy & Pilates company located at 219 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
Dr. Melanie Carminati is also a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Teacher (PMA-CPT) and incorporates Pilates into many of her rehabilitation treatments including reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Tower, abs spine corrector exercises as well as mat exercises. She also offers Pilates private lessons.
Hands-on techniques include Graston Technique, Kinesiotaping, soft tissue massage, active release, orthopedic manipulations, functional manual therapy, visceral manipulation, and craniosacral therapy.
