Ricci-Lee Hotz is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who, through her practice, “A Taste of Health,” offers nutrition counseling for individuals of all ages. She offers support to dancers who are looking to optimize their performance and those who are working through other medical conditions including eating disorders, GI conditions and weight management. Ricci-Lee’s philosophy of nutrition is unique in that she focuses on providing evidence-based, individualized nutrition recommendations that emphasize moderation, variety, and how to fit patients’ favorite foods into a healthy eating lifestyle for their specific goals. In addition to Ricci-Lee’s love for supporting individuals with nutrition and overall healthy lifestyle, she is a professional American Rhythm competitor and ballroom dance instructor for all styles, while also competing pro-am with her students. Going by “The Dancesport Dietitian” because of her experience and love for competing as a professional dancer as well as teaching dance, Ricci-Lee has a special passion for providing dancers of all ages, skill levels, and goals the information and support they need. She is passionate about supporting them to fuel their bodies properly to reach their goals, perform at their best, stay healthy, understand the importance of positive body image, and providing the tools to maintain positive body image while still promoting healthy nutrition choices.
