Ali Figurin – Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, NCC, LPC
Ali Figurin has been a part of the dance industry for 3 decades. She has worked in various roles with Universal Dance Association (UDA/Varsity Brands), including instructing college dance teams, serving as a head instructor and regional representative. Ali was also the Head Coach of the spirit programs and dance team at the University of Colorado Boulder (7 yrs). She has had the opportunity to judge nationally for UDA several times, consult for professional teams such as the Denver Nuggets (6 yrs), create choreography on numerous occasions, and give motivational speeches at various large-scale and national events.
Ali has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, a Master of Science degree in Counseling, Principal and Teaching K-12 Licensures, NCC, LPC, and EdS in Organizational Leadership from CU. She presently works as a school counselor in Boulder, Colorado, and runs her private counseling and consulting practice called Figurin’ It Out. Ali lives in downtown Denver with her husband and enjoys traveling, golf, biking, yoga, skiing, and of course, dancing!
