I am a physical therapist with more than 17 years of experience. I am a certified orthopedic manual therapist through the Ola Grimsby Institute and have been recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. I have extensive training in trigger point dry needling and the Graston technique of soft tissue mobilization. I am a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) specialist. Prior to my career in physical therapy, I was a certified pilates instructor through the Physicalmind Institute in both mat and equipment techniques.

My initial exposure to physical therapy began after sustaining a back injury while majoring in dance in college. This experience helped to form my appreciation for the importance of physical therapy in the healing process and the prevention of future injury.

I received my Bachelors of Science from Butler University in Arts Administration and Dance in 1996 and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 2003. I am the owner/operator of TCPT in New Orleans, LA.
