Dr. Mary Beth Maas, DPT
Mary Beth is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has experience in treating pediatrics, geriatrics, and everything in between. She most recently has specialized in treating youth athletes and dancers. Mary Beth received her Bachelors in Kinesiology and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University. In 2018, she completed a physical therapy orthopedic residency program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and became a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy in 2019.
Mary Beth's passion for dance was sparked at the early age of 3 years old, at her first dance class. As she faced injuries, doctor's visits, and rehab, she felt as though it was important for there to be members of the medical community that understand the demands of dance and support dancers from a holistic standpoint. Over the past years, she has spent countless hours learning and treating dancers of all ages and experience, ranging from young, novice dancers, to professional dancers on tour for So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars. She is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science and has a special interest in injury prevention of the dancer.
