Jessica Robinson, PT, DPT – Olympus Movement Performance
Jessica graduated from the University of California, San Diego with her Bachelors in Science in human biology in 2009 then went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 2016. She has been working in outpatient orthopedics for over 7 years with an emphasis in post-operative rehab, sports and dance medicine. She grew up as a gymnast and competitive dancer and has taught dance as well as coached a competitive collegiate dance team. She continues to enjoy working with this population today. Jessica became interested in athletic training and physical therapy after sustaining a knee injury in gymnastics and having to undergo several surgical repairs. This experience has given her a deeper understanding and empathy for those recovering from an injury/surgery. She is a strong believer that an individual is not defined by their injury or diagnosis and strives to return patients to their full functional capacity and achieve their individual goals. She is also passionate about injury prevention and dancer/athlete education. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dancing, baking, hiking, and generally exploring throughout San Diego.
