Jacky Thai, PTA, BS, EMR – Resilient Recovery
Jacky brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and dance experience to his practice. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Houston (2015) and an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from San Jacinto College (2018). Over the years, Jacky has gained extensive clinical experience across diverse settings, including worker's compensation, inpatient rehabilitation, pediatrics, acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient orthopedics.
In 2020, 2023, and 2024, Jacky participated in advanced clinical mentorship programs, collaborating with dance specialists to provide tailored treatment for breakers and all-style dancers. This specialized training allows him to address the unique physical demands of dancers and support their performance and recovery during competition.
As an alumnus of UH FSA Modern and Galing Cru, he was actively involved in choreography and performance from 2013 to 2016. Recently, he has reignited his passion for breaking, popping, waving, and house, immersing himself in both practice and the history of these styles.
By combining his clinical skills with his dance background, Jacky offers personalized, preventative care for artist-athletes. His approach emphasizes coaching and education, empowering artist-athletes to prioritize self-care and achieve longevity in their art form.
