Amy is a life changer. Not only didn’t she get me to a BETTER state than before my accident, but she thoroughly educates her patients by showing them correct form to prevent future injuries. She is so knowledgeable, understandable, and truly wants the best for each patient.

Being a dancer, I was scared that a neck and back injury would limit my dancing in the future. Other doctors I’ve worked with would just get me “standard” recovery for an average patient. Amy has me executing leaps, turns, balancing and so much more in our sessions.

I treated with Amy for over 6 months and she still messages me to see how I’m doing. Since then I have recommended her to all my friends and would recommend her to anyone-dancer or not. Can’t say enough great things about Amy. She’s someone you have to meet to believe how good she truly is!!

To start, Amy is amazing! If you have goals in mind, she’ll take the time to research and understand what is required to help you accomplish that goal, no matter what the movement is. She takes the time with you to work on a personal level which is what I really cherished when doing rehab with her. After rehabbing my injury, I continued to see her for tune ups and they were definitely worth while.

I would recommend her to anyone seeking professional advice and wanting to get moving!

As a former collegiate gymnast, I have had my share of injuries including 2 ACL repairs and 2 Lis-franc fracture dislocations. I have found that one of the most important aspects of successful rehab and return to competition is working with a physical therapist who understands your sport. For example, a PT like Amy knows what I mean if I ask if handstand pirouettes are OK on my impinged shoulder or if starting switch leaps on beam is OK on my knee. Amy is incredibly motivating, compassionate, enthusiastic, and a phenomenal dancer herself. Having that kind of background can make all the difference for a dancer, or any athlete return to the sport they love.

I came to Dr. Amy frustrated and in pain with ongoing headaches and neck pain after a car accident. I remember walking out of my first visit with her feeling full of hope that I would be back to my normal, energetic self soon enough. Amy has a positive attitude that rubs on her patients; she worked hard to get me out of pain and back into ballet as fast as time allowed. I am grateful for all the time she spent getting me healthy.
