I had a career as an elite dancer in UK ballet companies  musical theatre, film and TV. As a psychotherapist and counsellor  I am in a unique position to understand what dancers go through daily in their training years from an early age, through their short careers as well as the transitions in their lives.

I have an MA and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy regarding my practice and for Dance Medicine Science I am a member of IADMS (the International Association for Dance Medicine Science), NIDMS (the National Association for Dance Medicine Science) and One Dance UK. I am a guest lecture for the Performing Arts Medicine Masters course at UCL. I also give talks on mental health self-care for professional and pre-professional dancers.
