How it happened:

A more recent accomplishment I am proud of is I was able to be part of a team called S-Rank. Where we got a world championship at HHI 2017.  It was an hour before we went on stage and we were practicing a stunt and I messed up, and I landed on my upper neck and upper shoulder and I fractured my thrasher spine. The trick I was doing and that caused the injury was a basket toss. I had two people on both sides of me and then they interlocked their hands and I jump on as a platform and then do an extremely high Backflip and land on my own. This move is something I have done for other performances.

What happened next.

The ambulance was called and I was transferred to a hospital  near the Hip Hop International competition in Arizona. After the injury I was in the hospital for five days. I had a fractured T9 and T 10 and a fractured left side of the spine and a damage mastoid process in my left ear. I don’t even remember being in the hospital for 5 days. This injury caused me to not be able to dance, work, drive or go to school for months.  I have a brace that I have to wear 24-7 unless I am in the shower, but as soon as I get out it has to go right back on. I am not fully sure how this injury is going to affect my dance career. All I know is I am going to try my best and I am going to do my best to work around it. It is just time to pause and take a break but I am ready to go back into dancing as soon as my injury is recovered.  I have to work twice as hard to make up for this.
