Efficient & optimal movement patters has always been my interest in the science of exercise. Which is why Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) is the baseline with all my clients, the quality of their current dynamic movement pattern is what determines the level of DNS movements we execute during our sessions. In 2015 I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lamar University in Human Development. Proper corrective exercises stems from knowing the functionality of a muscle group, and all of my programs are designed with that on the forefront of my mind. The main functional misuse everyone, myself included, is guilty of is the misuse of our diaphragm. We breathe but we do not stabilize. The diaphragm has dual functions both respiration & stabilization; and ideal trunk stabilization comes from the dual-functions of our diaphragm. This is primarily the cause of most injuries, and inefficient movement patterns.
